What we collect when you buy a ticket, why, and what we never see.
Last updated 13 August 2026
Who this is about
This site sells tickets to I See You Gala on behalf of Infinite Grace Foundation, which decides what happens to the information collected here and is responsible for it.
What we collect
Buying a ticket creates one order record, holding:
- your email address;
- the number of tickets you bought;
- the amount and currency of the order;
- whether the payment succeeded, failed, was cancelled or was reversed;
- the reference PayHere gives the payment;
- whether the ticket has been used at the door, and when; and
- when the order was created and last updated.
That is the whole of it. We do not ask for your name, your phone number or your address, and there is no account to create.
What we never see
Your card details. Paying takes you to PayHere’s own checkout, hosted on their systems. Your card number, expiry and security code are entered there and are never sent to this site or stored by us. What comes back to us is a payment reference and whether it worked.
Cookies and tracking
This site sets no cookies, and carries no analytics, advertising scripts or third-party trackers. Nothing about your visit is shared with anyone. Typefaces are served from this site rather than a font network, so simply buying a ticket here tells no one anything.
There is one page that does use your browser’s storage, and it is not one you will see: the door staff’s ticket-scanning page keeps their entry password on the device they scan with, so they are not typing it back in all evening. Nothing about a guest is kept there.
Why we hold it
- To take payment and to tie a payment to the right order — we cannot sell you a ticket otherwise.
- To email you confirmation of your order, with the QR code that admits you.
- To admit you on the night: the QR code is scanned at the door and the order is marked as used, so one ticket cannot be used twice.
- To keep an accurate record of money received, which we are required to do.
We do not use your email address for general mailings, and we never sell, rent or trade it.
Who else sees it
Your email address is passed to PayHere so they can process the payment and send their own receipt, and to the mail service that delivers your confirmation. Both handle that information under their own privacy policies, as businesses we rely on rather than ones we control.
Beyond that, the order records sit in our own database, reachable by the people running the event and the foundation’s accounts. We will disclose information to someone else only where the law requires it of us.
How long we keep it
Order records are financial records, so they are kept for 7 years from the date of the order and then deleted. Nothing here is carried forward into a future event’s guest list.
Your say over it
Write to hello@infinitegrace.foundation from the address you used at checkout and you may ask us to:
- tell you what we hold about you;
- correct anything that is wrong;
- delete it, where we are not required to keep it as a financial record; or
- send you a copy of it.
We will answer within 30 days. If you think we have handled your information badly, tell us first and give us the chance to put it right — and if we do not, you can take the complaint to the data protection authority in Sri Lanka under its Personal Data Protection Act.
Keeping it safe
Traffic to this site is encrypted in transit, payment is handled entirely on PayHere’s systems, and access to the order database is limited to the people who need it to run the event. No system is perfect, and we will not pretend otherwise — but the surest protection here is how little we collect in the first place.
Children
Tickets are sold to adults. We do not knowingly collect information about children through this site.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version appears on this page with a new date at the top. Material changes affecting orders already placed will be emailed to the buyers concerned.
